Get ready for a howling good time with lots of yummy buffet treats on July 24th, 2013 with TV Personality, Animal Advocate, Best Selling Author - Wendy Diamond and John Ingram - of Ingram Charities for the 2013 Nashville Bark Breakfast at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, benefitting K9s For Warriors! Two legged and four legged guests are welcomed to rollover and celebrate while helping to save one veteran and one dog in Nashville!
The K9s For Warriors is a one-of-a-kind program; they pair service dogs on the verge of being euthanized with veterans suffering from PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury. One donation will help save a dog's life and heal a top dog veteran that has served our country selfishly.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, the tour will 100% benefit K9s For Warriors. At this must-attend benefit, doggies and their guardians will have the opportunity to mingle (and sniff) with other guests while enjoying a continental breakfast.
In support of the Bark Business Breakfast, sponsor Ellen DeGeneres' pet food company, Halo, Purely for Pets knows that natural nutrition is key for service dogs (and all dogs) because it ensures a long, happy life. All canine guests will chow down on a breakfast doggy buffet of Halo Hearty Surf n’ Turf, Beef & Chickpea and Vegan Garden Medley! Woof to that!
American Express Open will honor our brave warriors that have returned and started their own businesses comprising of 9% of all small businesses in the USA! The Loews Vanderbilt Hotel will host the Bark Breakfast, allowing all guests to can get down to business; mingle, munch and motivate raising donations for K9s For Warriors. All guests will be treated to a take home doggy gift bag!
The Bark Breakfast is a celebration to honor our veterans and their wonderful service dogs! The goal is to pair at least one veteran and one canine by raising $10,000 in each of the national ten city tour destinations, first stop – Nashville! Yee-haw!
K9s For Warriors is totally transparent, and through Social Media all donors will be able to follow and track the veteran and service dog they support! Donations will directly benefit veterans in Nashville – giving donors the power to decide exactly where their money goes and support their your community!
Bark Business Breakfast Nashville guests will have the pleasure of meeting United State Army veteran Alex and his rescued companion Skip, along with US Army Specialist veteran Melissa and her rescue, Chauncey. Both are graduates from the K9 for Warriors program, and have heartwarming stories to share about how their service dogs helped them find life again!
