Dyer Observatory Telescope Nights are held on the second Friday of each month. Astronomers offer free tours. Reservations are required. Second-Friday Telescope Nights for 2013 are March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, and November 8.
Telescope Night reservations are available 30 days prior to each event. Reservations are required and must be made online. There is a $10 parking fee due at the time of the reservation.
The Dyer telescopes will be open for viewing. If cloudy we will be open for "ask an astronomer" and observatory tours. Start times vary - please see Dyer's website for details.
The Seyfert Telescope is located on the second floor of the observatory. There are twenty steps leading to the second floor.
